As part of our fundraising efforts for our chosen Charity of the Year, Penny Brohn, our intrepid Adviser Edward Whiting recently threw himself 160ft off a crane at the Lloyds Amphitheatre as part of their ‘Bungee the Boss’ Campaign.

The charity is hoping to raise £20,000 from the event, which took place on Friday 16th June, in order to help people living with cancer. Over 30 managers and employees from local businesses rose to the challenge after being nominated by their colleagues!

Ed, was understandably excited as the big day approached and was looking forward to filming his jump.

“Penny Brohn do a great job in supporting cancer suffers like me and it was now my time to support them.”

The day proved to be a huge success and Ed has made a great contribution in helping us on our way to achieving our aim of raising over £10,000 for this worthwhile charity.

We have a programme of events scheduled throughout the year to help us raise funds and hit our target for Penny Brohn.  If you would like to know more about their invaluable work please visit their website www.pennybrohn.org.uk
