Thomas started working in financial services in 1992 after graduating from the University of York with a degree in Chemistry.

Thomas is a shareholder in Grosvenor Consultancy and continues to provide ongoing financial planning advice to a longstanding portfolio of clients. Alongside Ben Olson, he shares responsibility for the oversight of the firm’s investment process and works closely with Chief Operating Officer Adam Holmes on the continued development of the business and its client proposition.

Outside of work he is married to Mariya and is the proud father of five children. In his free time he plays a fair amount of competitive golf, on the amateur circuit, and he has won a number of national amateur titles. He also enjoys running, cycling, skiing and training at the gym and believes that remaining physically fit keeps him mentally fit, which enables him to do his job more effectively.
