Matt has been a financial adviser since November 1983 and therefore has over 30 years experience advising clients. Prior to this he obtained an honours degree in Social and Political History at Swansea University. Between 1983 and 1998, Matt worked for a variety of financial services companies, both an adviser and sales manager. He helped set up Grosvenor Consultancy Limited in 1998 with Ben Olson and 5 other colleagues.
His main role at Grosvenor is working as an Independent Financial Adviser looking after a number of clients, providing advice, service and ongoing financial planning. Also, as a shareholder in Grosvenor, he assists in the running of the business with the following roles; Organising Sales and Training meetings, supervision and support for advisers and acting as the company’s Anti Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).
Outside of work he has a large network of friends with whom he enjoys spending time socialising and watching sport, particularly horse racing and football. To relax he likes to spend time at his allotment where he grows his own fruit and vegetables.
Matt has been advising me and helping to manage my pension and investments for over ten years offering what is proving to be excellent advice, which offers security and flexibility as I start to plan towards my retirement. With legislation constantly changing and the money markets being far from stable, Matt has always offered a balanced and professional service delivered in a friendly and easy to understand manner. Testimony of my satisfaction with Matt’s advice is I have recommended my family and friends to utilise his skills and each one has enjoyed a similar experience.
We receive a truly individual service, which recognises our financial situation, giving advice in a friendly and relaxed manner. Matt is never in a rush and takes his time to clearly explain his recommendations, making sure that we are 100% happy with his proposals and the decisions we make.
